Vlogger Favourite: TalkBeckyTalk

I thought I'd share a vlogger I've recently discovered and love - TalkBeckyTalk! I discovered Becky's channel through FleurDeForce as she did some videos with her about two months ago. Since then, she has been regularly uploading videos to her channel on a variety of subjects including fashion, hair, make-up and more!

As a beauty vlogger, I find her particularly refreshing because the videos are packed with information from her own personal experience. She recommends products that she has used for months or years on end, unlike some vloggers that wear something once and claim it changed their lives. She also reviews and uses a mixture of high end and high street end pieces and has a great mix of beauty and fashion videos, without one strongly taking over the other. Her advice is practical, simple, using high street products and perfect for normal girls.

Let me know what you think of her channel in the comments and be sure to subscribe to her too!

Blogger Favourite: Lights All Faded

I love it when I find new blogs from reading other people's recommendations. There's a lot of rubbish produced online so to find a recommendation which you know is great is fantastic. So today, I thought I'd give it a go!

Although I read a lot of fashion, make-up and other beauty blogs, I also read my friend Dani's "Lights All Faded" travel blog. Dani is an Australian backpacker who is currently travelling around Europe and America and blogging her experiences throughout.

She's written reviews of hostels, recommended places to visit during her travels, shared tales of the good, the bad and the ugly and kept all her visitors up-to-date with her experiences as she travels. I also really love her insightful posts where she works around ideas of taboo in travelling, representation of cultures, explores travel philosophy as well as her posts with personal handy hints in relation to packing, hostels, transport and more.

On her site she has a travel map so you can see where she's visited so far, a little widget so you can see what city she's currently exploring and details on past trips as well as her hopes for future trips across the pond! She posts blogs very regularly (usually a couple of times per week) and is always on Twitter updating with funny tidbits and interesting on-the-spot tips as she hops from city to city.

I'm not a huge traveller myself but find it so inspiring reading her experiences in places which I would love to visit, so be sure to check out Dani's blog at LightsAllFaded.com now!

Republic Mini Dresses

"Silky floral print tea dress from Glamorous - Cream, blue & orange print and Back string tie waist"

I love Republic! They sell the most gorgeous pieces - especially for girls - that are elegant, sexy, stylish and perfect for summer! A particular favourite of mine is their mini dresses which retail throughout the year but I think are perfect for pairing with a pair of leggings and some boots in spring or with some sandals for summer!

I've picked some of my faves and would love to hear what yours are!

Beauty Favorites: The Body Shop

The Body Shop is a brand which I adore - I can't walk past the store without popping in. I think this stemmed from the fact that my Mum always smelt of the brand when I was young as she used their fragrances. As I got older, I started testing out products myself and wanted to share a couple of my favorites with you!

I really admire their stance on animal testing, the amount of philanthropy that the company does and of course their products. The Body Shop is based in Littlehampton, West Sussex so its a brand which is very familiar to me as I live a few minutes drive away from their headquarters.

Firstly is the Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel. I have used this for a few years now and absolutely love it. Although the product is not cheap, you don't need too much of it to feel thoroughly refreshed after your shower. The scent is stunning (definitely my favorite from the brand's shower gel selection) and you leave the shower smelling amazing - and leaving the bathroom smelling fabulous too! The Body Shop are currently running a promotion "Buy More Save More" which is valid on these Shower Gels, so its definitely worth popping into a store and have a sniff to find your fave!
When I was looking for a new perfume last year, The Body Shop came to my rescue. The Body Shop Love Etc... Eau De Parfum is STUNNING. The scent is fruity but light and I don't think I've ever found a perfume that has suited my personality like this one does. The incredible blend of jasmine, Vanilla and Sandalwood are a great mix and last all day and night - often with lots of compliments. I would highly recommend this scent because its so light but makes you feel really bold and its not too expensive! I love the bottle, the whole design of the Love Etc... range and can't wait to try out more of the products from it!
My third favourite is The Body Shop Super Volume Mascara in Black. I got this as a free sample in a magazine and love it. The brush is nice, creates even coverage and length, although does clump a little and you have to remove the excess from the brush before you apply it. The colour is bold and makes your eyes pop. Whether I would buy one, I'm not sure as mascaras from other brands are a lot cheaper but I will definately finish the bottle.

Which Body Shop products do you like or would you like to try?
