Outfit Of The Day: Jennifer Aniston on June 10th

Today's outfit of the day is pretty unexpected for me - I'm not usually a huge fan of Jennifer Aniston's style choices but on this occasion, I thought she looked fab!

When landing at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris last weekend, Jennifer wore a Balmain Double Breasted Milan Stitch Blazer, simple white tank, and baggy Vivienne Westwood jeans. She paired these items with a pair of Ray-Ban Aviators, the Tom Ford flap-over zip bag and some simple white sneakers.

The main thing I love about this outfit is that it would be something that literally everyone wears at some point - a simple pair of jeans, with some trainers and a tank top. Its the way she's accessorized that really glams it up - the blazer is gorgeous with the gold buttons, the scarf with its matching print is fun tied around the strap of the bag, the sunglasses look very diva-ish and the straight hair looks perfectly coiffed. This seems to me like a great outfit to travel in because its comfy for the plane and stylish for the airport runway - I love it!

Last Night's Look: 2012 Brit Awards

Rihanna wore an embellished floor length Givenchy Couture gown. The taupe backless dress featured an above-the-knee split and matching plunging neckline, which she paired with a pair of leather gloves and studded heels. I think the dress looks sleek, stylish and modern on her figure. I know that this style of glove is going to be big in Fall/Winter 2012 but its not a trend that I'm a fan of - it draws the attention away from the dress!

The 2012 BRIT Awards were held yesterday evening (January 21st) at the O2 Arena in London. The event was hosted by the fabulous James Corden and stars in attendance included Will.I.Am, Coldplay, Adele and more. I've picked a few looks from the event that I think are blogworthy (some for good reasons,  some not so good) and would love to hear your thoughts on each of them! Who's outfit do you think stood out?

Lana Del Ray looked stunning in a red off-the-shoulder floorlength gown from Vivienne Westwood. I wish she's added some edgy accessories to this outfit though as the dress itself is quite simple yet soft and needs something to make it shine. Saying that, I love the shape of the neckline and how she's styled her hair to exemplify it; and I also really like the shape of the dress itself with its flowiness and train.

Florence Welch picked a nude Alexander McQueen gown with a rise and fall skirt and tonnes of frills. I really don't like the dress mainly because its just so busy you don't know where to look - too many frills! I don't think it helps that she is so pale that in some places you kind of can't see where the dress ends and she starts... I do like the Alexander McQueen heels though, the hair is simple but it works and the tonnes of layered rings that she's worn are fab!

Jessie J opted for a sheer red lace dress with floral embroidery and matching red knickers. I generally quite like the sheer trend - its teasing but gives an edge to outfits that would otherwise be a bit simple - however on this occasion I don't think it works at all. There's a difference between having sheer parts of a dress and just wearing a net curtain and the part of her that is most covered is her carves and feet by the fullness of the train... I just don't get it!

Tonight's Looks: 2012 BAFTA Awards

Michelle Williams looked fabulous on the orangey red carpet wearing a custom floor length strapless H&M gown inspired by their Conscious Collection. She paired it with ForeverMark jewelery and an Olympia Le-Tan clutch bag - I love that it looks like she's toting a book! I like the block colour of the black skirt and the cream corset - the shape is simple but suits her perfectly!

The 2012 BAFTA's are being held this evening at the Royal Opera House in London and the stars have turned out in force - as always! All of the women must have been freezing in those dresses though - we've barely pushed into positive temperatures this weekend! I've picked out a few of my favourite looks and would love to hear your thoughts on them too!

Penelope Cruz is probably getting the most attention for her BAFTA outfit this year - she wore a strapless floor-length Armani Prive gown in a deep red colour with sparkling diamond jewelry.I don't like the neckline of the dress at all - the straight line just doesn't work for me with her own fabulous curves. I do like the waist ruffling though!  I think her hair looks fab up and the bangs/fringe really work well!

Fearne Cotton was covering the event for E! alongside Dermot O Leary! She wore a stunning pink floorlength Moschino gown with high neck, long sleeves and bow & embellished detailing. I am in love with this look - Fearne has quite a boyish figure and a retro, vintage style so I think this dress really suits her. I also love her hair and make-up - the big curls look fab!

Meryl Streep looked amazing (as always) in a black Vivienne Westwood  floorlength gown with embellished corset belt and bolero. I can't really blame her for wearing the cover-up though - its freezing in the UK at the moment so bring on the summer! Her up-do looks fabulous and she looks as young and sexy as ever! There are no other words!
