Outfit Of The Day: Ashley Tisdale on October 2nd

On October 2nd, Ashley Tisdale was spotted on the set of her new movie 'Scary Movie 5' wearing a Free People 'Collegiate' Cardigan, Truly Madly Deeply 'Live To Ride' Muscle Tee, a pair of Tractr Jeans and her favourite Sam Edelman Gigi Sandals.

I love the fall feeling this outfit brings - layering up your favourite summer pieces is one of the best parts about Autumn in my opinion and Ashley does it perfectly. I love the dark red theme that runs throughout this outfit from the highlight on the cardigan. part of the detailing of the graphic tee, the shade of the jeans and of course the brown sandals - it all flows perfectly. This is the perfect university insipiration outfit in my opinion, stylish yet casual and comfortable too!

I love graphic tees and jeans but am never comfortable enough to wear that simple of an outfit in public... maybe now I'll try?

Smart Fall Transition Outfit Guide

Transitioning from summer to autumn is SO much fun! Its one of my favourite times of the year fashionwise because you can wear a lot of your summer stuff still, just by adding layers to keep warmer! Blazers and scarves and boots are fun for winter but mixing them with summer gear is when people can be most stylish I think! Berry, blacks and bronzes are perfect for the season too - I know there's one shade of purple that I love to rock in the autumn and own so many pieces of that hue (I'm sure I'll blog about it soon!).

So... here's a smart fall transition outfit that can be worn when its chilly in the morning and when its warm in the afternoon just by adding or removing the blazer!

Craving: Sam Edelman GIGI Sandals

Although the weather is rubbish, its about time I start thinking about summer and one of my favourite things about summer fashion is sandals!

I'm a huge Sam Edelman and the GiGi's have had my attention for quite some time - they're flattering, come in lots of different colours and patterns, they're quirky and different to the standard sandals you can normally pick up in stores. They're also a celebrity favourite and that can only be because they're pretty good, so hopefully I'll manage to try a pair on this summer too! At £80, they're not a sandal that I will probably end up buying because I tend to use a pair for a season and then throw them and these are a little too expensive to do that!

What are your favourite summer trends? I'd love to hear in the comments!

Summer Wardrobe Staple - Hollister FlipFlops

Yesterday, in the UK, it was sunny and warm with a light breeze and it felt like SUMMER WAS HERE! Unfortunately the summer appears to have disappeared again as its miserable outside once more but I thought I'd share with you my Summer Wardrobe Staple - Hollister Flipflops.

Last year was the first time I'd ventured into expensive flipflops to last a few seasons as usually I buy a cheap pair that just about lasts for the summer months and then throw it! Although they are quite expensive for what they are, I adore mine and am so glad that I brought them. They seem to go with every outfit because they have the classic flipflop shape with the added woven design so they are simple yet interesting. Also, the colour means that they look good on tanned feet or paler feet when summer is just starting. They lasted last summer with very little damage and I'll definately be rocking them throughout this summer too.

The thing I love most about these flipflops is that they are so comfy. The sole has a fabulous curve now where I wore them everyday last summer so they are uber comfortable to walk in. Also, it doesnt rub in between my toes, even though I hadn't worn them for six months, it felt like I'd only taken them off yesterday.

I don't think I can rave enough about these flipflops - if you get the chance, be sure to pop into Hollister and try on a few pairs!
