Outfit Of The Day: Vanessa Hudgens on Sept. 7th

When attending the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her film 'Spring Breakers', Vanessa Hudgens wore a strapless pink Notte by Marchesa Silk Gown, which she paired with Jimmy Choo 'Greta' Heels, a Jimmy Choo 'Cayla' clutch bag and chunky gold jewelry.

If you read my blog regularly, you'll know that I find Vanessa Hudgens' style very hit or miss but I really love this outfit! The rest of the looks for this promo tour were very neutral in colour but were all well put together and great looking outfits but this one was my favourite from the tour. 

The shape of the dress flatters her figure fabulously with the layered fabric, synched in waist and fab angular neckline really defining her shape and giving her curves she otherwise may not have had. I love the chunky gold bangle adding a touch of her true bo-ho chic style and the leopard print clutch giving her a young edge! The half up/down do which frames her face and the smokey make-up almost make the look seem effortless.

I can't fault anything with this look - just love it!

Outfit Of The Day: Vanessa Hudgens on May 3rd

On May 3rd when out and about in Studio City, Los Angeles, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted wearing a Style Stalker Eno Dress in Black, the Spell Pocahontas Princess Necklace, her classic Chanel 2.5 Flap Bag, Koolaburra Khloe Sandals and a pair of cat eye sunglasses.

Vanessa's style can be very hit or miss. Some of her outfits are just impeccable and so stylish whilst others are just.... hideous! This is such a beautiful outfit (and its nice to see her out without her BF Austin Butler).

I love the cutouts in the side of the dress which give that LBD look a bit more of an edge, and pairing it with the cute necklace with the turquoise highlights is really fun - I love oversized statement necklaces like that. I'm not to keen on these shoes with that dress - would like to have seen something that was black or colorful, not brown - but I'm sure in a different outfit they would look great!

Let's hope that she sticks with being stylish this summer (her last few outfits have been spot on!) and not overly bo-ho like some of her outfits seem to edge towards.

Coachella was held last weekend in Indio, California with celebrities such as Rihanna, Lindsay Lohan, Vanessa Hudgens, Paris Hilton and more rocking their best bo-ho outfits in the VIP area!

Stars seem to wear THE quirkiest outfits often featuring items that would look gorgeous on their own or in other outfits but together look a little mental! I've picked some of my favourite Coachella outfits from this year - some of which I think are actually stylish and others which aren't so, but definately made me smile!

Spirit Hoods: Yay or Nay?

Spirit Hoods are a Los Angeles based fashion brand which produce unique and fabulous looking hoods! My favourite thing about Spirit Hoods is the branding of the company as all the products represent difficult animals. The brand itself has the tagline:

"There is a transformation that takes place when you wear a SpiritHood. This experience is un-definable, and completely unique to you . . ." 

My favourite from the collection is the "Night Owl" design [pictured below]. The intricate yet unique fabric and layering of the individual strands replicate the animal perfectly and it seems like this particular hood would be perfect in bo-ho chic spring outfits on those blustery, sunny days. I also really love the feather logo on the reverse side. The piece is described in terms of the animal that it represents by Spirit Hoods:

The Owl is often regarded as a messenger between worlds. The Owl Spirit is at home in the night and embraces darkness to their advantage. They've been worn by the likes of Vanessa Hudgens, Jessie J, Ke$ha, Justin Bieber and more so it could be argued that they're en trend, but what do you think of Spirit Hoods? Craving: Soixante Neuf's Turquoise Tri-Stone Shield Ring

I am a HUGE fan of Soixante Neuf Jewelry - their pieces are innovative, quirky and type of accessory that you could wear over and over again and still love. 

A particular favourite from their collections, and one that I crave each and every time I see it, is the Turquoise Tri-Stone Shield Ring. It has been worn by the likes of Ashley Tisdale, Rachel McAdams and Vanessa Hudgens (in fact, barely a day goes by where Ashley is not rocking this ring!). The intricacy of the metal shield itself is gorgeous and so delicate, whilst the bright colour of the turquoise stone (my favourite colour for jewelry -in fact, I've blogged about my love of Turquoise jewelry HERE!) make it an instant statement and a piece that you could pair with almost anything in your wardrobe.

I would LOVE to wear one of these rings but with no stores in the UK, it's going to have to remain a craving for now

Last Night's Looks: 2012 PCA

The 2012 People's Choice Awards took place last night (January 11th), so I thought I would dissect a few of the most stand-out outfits from the event!

Lea Michele attended in a white 20's style flapper dress by Marchesa, Jimmy Choo heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. I think this looks is interesting for Lea and actually quite daring on her part. The fringe detailing makes the dress look fun and flirty whilst the shoulder detailing makes it look mature and grown up. I love how she's added the bright pink lipstick to really finish the outfit.

Demi Lovato (pictured above) wore a strapless peach Marchesa gown with a sweetheart neckline and embellishments on the bodice, paired with a matching embellished Marchesa box clutch bag. The shape of the dress itself is flattering to her figure but with this dress in particular, I think Demi having her hair down would have improved the look as the sweetheart neckline just doesn't look right.

Vanessa Hudgens wore an embellished Jenny Packham gown with Casadei Heels and Judith Leiber Clutch. This outfit is less bo-ho than her usual looks but more dark and dramatic - especially with the make up where she has really vamped up her eyes! The dress does look very sexy but the neckline to me is very puzzling with the weird central fabric that goes to her collar bone.

Big Bang Theory star and PCA host Kaley Cuoco attended wearing a pale pink Badgley Mischka floor length gown with petal detailing. This dress looks fabulous on her as its very figure flattering and the natural colour, fabric and petals make it appear very romantic and dreamy. I also love how she's done her hair - kinda reminds me of the 90's Rachel hair style but it suits her perfectly.

Looks I Love: Vanessa Hudgens

I think that Vanessa Hudgens' style is really interesting. She often gets slated by the fashion press for her outfit decisions - agreed that some are a bit of a mess - but others I think are really stylish. Her style is often the embodiment of bohemian-chic with the oversized fabrics, wide brimmed hats, layered necklaces and tonnes of prints!

Vanessa was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills in October in this fabulous outfit. She wore a Free People Janis Hat, Love Heals Mountain Necklace, the Jen's Pirate Booty French Janis Crop Top, an Elizabeth and James Knuckle Ring, Indah Jaclyn Skirt, the Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag and some gorgeous Tory Burch Booties! LOVE IT!

Although I wouldn't wear this outfit personally, I love the way it has been put together - it perfectly fits Vanessa's style and body shape. In this photo, taken at the Outside Lands Festival earlier this year, she wore the We The Free Cable Coat, a black lace bralette, Tolani Elephant Maxi Skirt and lots of layered feather themed jewelry. With her cropped hair do and oversized maxi skirt and cardi, the outfit looks great - its a great boho-chic festival outfit!
